This means the wood is treated by subjecting it to high heat at near atmospheric pressure in the absense of oxygen. This causes the wood to have a very low uptake of moisture while in use and biological degradation is drastically slowed, resulting in a natural preservation without chemical treatment!

With a capacity of 90 gallons, it is perfect for smaller gardens. It has as easy-to-handle 2-part lid, also made of wood. The lid is much heavier than the plastic lids which prevents it from blowing away. No more replacing lost lids!
