The Cedar Worm Compost Bin is designed to install inground. It has no bottom, so it allows excess moisture to drain out naturally into the soil below. The cedar wood is natural, renewable, non-toxic, biodegradable and sustainable. It also keeps the worms cool and comfortable. This size will accomodate about four pounds of worms. They eat about 1 1/2 times their weight in a 24 hour period under optimum conditions.

The dual chamber design is ideal for batch composting. Just throw in all of your organic kitchen scraps ( no meat, fish, oils or fat) and the red wrigglers eat it up and turn it into nutrient rich castings or soil amendment for your garden.

The bin arrives in a a flat pack and you assemble it using the instructional DVD that is included.
