The Worm Bungalow has been designed to process large amounts of food & organic wastes --- great for restaurants, farms, public gardens, community associations, correctional facilities, dormitories & schools. The system requires no compost turning and requires no separating of worms and partially decomposed waste from the finished compost. The unit is 3'H x 3'D and weighs approx. 80 lbs. Users have reported up to 8 tons of waste composted per year. The Worm Bungalow comes with a heating unit, and is insulated for optimum year round use. It features a raised floor design providing maximum aeration for faster worm feeding and shorter composting times. The system never needs to be emptied or restarted, using 100% of the composting area. 

This unit does have a bottom and can be used indoors. It has 1/4 inch vent holes all around the sides for proper ventilation.
