Philantha Daybed is a modern interpretation of the popular Arts & Crafts style. The arms of the daybed by boast long spindles joining an iconic A&C arched top and bottom rail. The back features smaller spindles widely spaced in sets of three, also connecting to a gently curving top rail. Optically appealing, the bed is built from poplar wood with solid construction. The medium oak finish is produced with a seven step process, giving it a rich deep color. Available is an optional pop up trundle, handy for those times when guests stay overnight. Very versatile, the Oakdale Wood Daybed is suitable for guest rooms, spare rooms or children's bedrooms. It needs only a mattress, no box spring is required.
