Recycle old newspapers, cardboard, coffee grounds and other forms of garden and household waste ny inoculating them with Pearl Oyster Mushrooms.

 One of our favorite methods is also one of the simplest: just mix the sawdust spawn directly into coffee grounds, espresso or percolated. You can ask your local coffee shop to save their grounds, or save your own in a bag or bucket.... you can even freeze the grounds for later use ( this will prevent mold from forming on the coffee grounds while you're collecting them).

Mix our pure Pearl Oyster mushroom spawn into the moist coffee grounds by hand, and cover with a plate or a perforated plastic bag. The mushroom mycelium will spread and colonize the grounds, and mushrooms will spring to life in about 2-3 weeks. A 55-75 degree F environment is recommended. Kit comes complete with one gallon of Pearl Oyster sawdust spawn and detailed instructions.
